HOW TO PRAY

PRAYING first begins with the ability to LISTEN and also to have a warm heart to invite and welcome the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.

The HOLY SPIRIT is your guide to aid you in HOW TO PRAY, by directing your words, giving your a spirit of peace, making you receptive to discern messages from communicating with GOD and most importantly, giving you the ability to reach GOD through the HOLY SPIRIT and the Power of JESUS CHRIST.

To hear the voice of GOD and knowing your acknowledgement is for him, first and foremost. Read: -Matthew 13: 9 and Matthew 13: 43

- "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear"

PRAYER is also understanding the GOD you are PRAYING to and the Kingdom he represents.

JESUS gives us a template and a guide on "HOW TO PRAY" in the book of Matthew Chapter 6, JESUS tells us before we begin to pray, to go to a 'Secret Place' -Matthew 6: 6

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly"

JESUS instructs to PRAY after this Manner:

1. "Our Father which art in Heaven"

-Acknowledge who GOD is and where he is with RESPECT.

-Matthew 6: 9

2. "Hallowed be thy name"

-Acknowledge and begin prayer to GOD in Holiness, as he is HOLY, praying in the SPIRIT.

-Matthew 6: 9

3. "Thy Kingdom Come"

-Ask GOD for his Kingdom. The Kingdom of GOD is also within you, so you're asking GOD for his Kingdom to Manifest through you and also for his Kingdom to take over the earth. This also includes GOD'S Kingdom taking over the lives of others.

-Matthew 6: 10

4. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven"

-Asks GOD to take full control over your life as you surrender to his will for your life. It also acknowledges you to accept that you surrender your life, your needs, your circumstances, all to the will of GOD on earth as well as it is in Heaven.

-Matthew 6: 10

5. "Give us this day our daily bread"

-Asks GOD to provide for you today and thank him for his provision.

-Matthew 6: 11

6. "And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors"

-Asks and pleads with GOD to have mercy on us and forgive us of our sins, as we have already forgiven those that have sinned against us.

-Matthew 6: 14 & 15

7. "And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen"

-Ask GOD to direct your path so we will not fall into temptation and also asks GOD to deliver us from evil, because your body is GOD'S Kingdom, Anointed with his Power and for his Glory, you agree by saying: "Amen."

-Matthew 6: 13
